Metalis are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Middleton. You'll be assembling and testing electrical panels used within a range of innovative products for well-known brands and blue-chip companies. What's the Job?
Assembly and testing of lighting and electrical panels
Electrical wiring and LED installation
Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carrying out visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
Ensuring correct component placement and safe power routing
Working closely with an experienced production team
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout production
What Kind of Person Fits This Job?
Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical assembly or soldering
Ability to read and interpret engineering or production drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
A reliable team player with a positive attitude
Flexible to work overtime when requiredDesirable but not essential:

The Basics:
Permanent position
Monday to Friday, Days
£13.50 per hour, increasing to £14.00 per hour after successful probation
23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service)
