I'm recruiting for a growing drylining contractor turning over around £5m who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you'll be given real responsibility from day one, working closely with experienced commercial professionals and gaining exposure to a wide range of commercial and residential drylining projects.
Whether you've already got experience within drylining or come from another construction background, this could be the ideal next step if you're keen to develop.
The role:
* Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts.
* Supporting procurement and subcontractor management.
* Monitoring project costs and reporting.
* Working closely with Contracts Managers and operational teams.
* Helping ensure projects remain commercially successful as the business continues to grow.
What they're looking for:
* Experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS role.
* Construction industry background.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
