How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our Vacancy

    We are seeking a detail‑driven and highly organised individual to support the effective financial administration of our rent and service charge activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening our income management processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of essential financial systems. You will contribute to the integrity of our service charge control accounts, support the accurate posting of income, and assist in the development of robust procedures that enhance efficiency across the organisation.     Contract: Permanent Part Time

    Hours: 21 pw

    Salary: £27,776 (Working 21 hours)

    What you'll do

    You will support the accurate posting of all income, ensuring financial data is maintained to a high standard and working with stakeholders to improve processing efficiency. You will assist the Rent & Service Charge Manager with preparing and reconciling service charge budgets, maintaining financial records, supporting invoicing processes, and liaising with colleagues on service costs. You will also help manage rent administration by maintaining affordable rent information, supporting rent setting for lettings, and ensuring data accuracy across all rent‑related activities.
