About the Role
As a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils both in the classroom and through one-to-one support, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. This role in Flitwick offers invaluable classroom experience within a supportive and experienced school team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom and 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and additional learning needs.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning activities.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
Support children's emotional, social, and academic development throughout the school day.Requirements
A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
Previous experience working with children or within an SEN setting (preferred).
Experience supporting pupils with ASD and speech & language needs (desirable).
A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
