With over 300 florists and multiple gardens centre, each bouquet and plant is treated with care and consideration before it leaves our site ensuring the best possible quality for our customers. Not only that, we also use specialised techniques to check how our flowers and plants are going to develop through their life, so we can keep them at their very best. Here, we make over 400,000 bouquets every week using hand tying methods and machinery. We also make over 2.5m plants over the year. This grows significantly at busy times, such as Valentine's Day. Some of you key duties will include:
Management Accounting: Oversee financial reporting for the post-acquisition integration process, ensuring smooth alignment of the newly acquired business with existing company structures.
Finance Business Partnering: Work closely with key stakeholders and project managers to provide financial insights, offering support through the integration phase, and ensuring financial visibility across the business
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships across departments, facilitating collaboration between the newly acquired business and the wider company, ensuring seamless integration.
In-Depth Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Take ownership of comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment of financial statements across both entities during the integration process.
Reporting & Analysis: Produce detailed management reports highlighting any financial risks, opportunities, and variances, specifically related to the integration project
About You
Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE (Qualified by Experience) Accountant with strong expertise in management accounting and financial reporting.
Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, where you've worked to ensure smooth financial integration.
Strong ability to carry out in-depth balance sheet reconciliations, with an eye for detail and a focus on accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Outstanding relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across various teams during the integration process.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
