How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales professional to join a growing business within the commercial HVAC sector.

We're looking for a motivated and commercially focused Regional Business Manager to develop business across North London and the Northern Home Counties. This is a specification-led sales role, working closely with M&E consultants, contractors, developers and architects to secure product specifications and drive project opportunities.

If you have experience selling technical products into the construction or building services market and enjoy building long-term customer relationships, we'd like to hear from you.

    The Role

As Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a defined sales territory, developing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.

Working closely with consultants, contractors and developers, you'll provide technical guidance, promote HVAC solutions and support projects from initial specification through to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage sales across a defined territory.

Generate new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.

Build strong relationships with M&E consultants, contractors, developers and architects.

Secure product specifications on commercial construction projects.

Provide a consultative, solution-based sales approach.

Prepare quotations, technical submissions and specifications.

Manage projects throughout the full sales cycle.

Deliver CPD presentations and technical product updates.

Work closely with internal teams to maximise project conversion.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer records using CRM.

Identify market trends and new business opportunities.

Ensure commercial activity is managed professionally and accurately.

Support continuous business growth and improvement initiatives.

    About You

You'll be a driven and self-motivated sales professional who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

    Essential

Proven experience in a technical or specification sales role.

Experience working with M&E consultants, contractors, developers or architects.

    Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills.

Ability to deliver a consultative sales approach.

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

    Full UK driving licence.

    Desirable

Experience within HVAC, fan coil units or building services.

Understanding of specification sales within the construction sector.

Experience delivering CPD presentations or technical product demonstrations
