How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Site Supervisor – Solar Farm Project

    Location: Brigg
    Job Type: Contract 

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to work on solar farm project. You will play a key role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
    Working closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, you will coordinate site activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
    Key Responsibilities
    Supervise day-to-day site activities and workforce.
    Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme.
    Monitor quality standards and ensure works comply with project specifications.
    Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
    Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
    Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
    Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
    Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, clients, and suppliers.
    Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are available and used efficiently.
    Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.Essential Requirements
    Previous experience as a Site Supervisor on civil engineering, renewable energy, or large-scale construction projects.
    Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site management.
    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
    Full UK Driving Licence.
    SSSTS qualification.
    CSCS Card.
    First Aid at Work qualification.Desirable
    Experience working on solar farm projects.
    Knowledge of electrical infrastructure or renewable energy construction.What We Offer
