How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Teaching Assistant (full-time, temporary)
    Salford
    £1851- £2000 per month PAYE – (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
    Start date: September 2026

    The School and Role
    A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Salford is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support within a Year 3 class, there will be an element of supporting children with EHCP or Learning Support needs.

    This role is especially suited to candidates with experience supporting pupils with SEND who are passionate about making a meaningful difference through 1:1 support. If you have a patient, resilient, and nurturing approach, we would love to hear from you.

    You will work closely with individual pupils, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs, helping them to build confidence, stay engaged, and make progress both academically and emotionally. Your ability to form strong relationships and adapt your support style will be key to helping pupils thrive.

    Requirements (Please Apply Only If You Meet the Below)
    To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will:

    A genuine passion for working with children and young people
    Experience working with children with SEN or General classroom experience.
    A good understanding of the National Curriculum or the subject that are taught in school.
    A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
