We are recruiting five Production Operatives to join an established manufacturing company.
These Production Operative positions will involve a mixture of electrical assembly and product testing.
Previous electrical or electronics experience would be useful, but attitude, reliability and practical ability are more important. Full product and process training will be provided.
Production Operative responsibilities
Depending on your strengths and experience, the Production Operative role may include:
* Assembling electrical and electronic products
* Working from technical drawings and build instructions
* Using screwdrivers and other basic hand tools
* Wiring and fitting electrical components
* Completing electronics assembly and electrical assembly work
* Testing completed electronic products
* Following test instructions and company procedures
* Recording test results accurately
* Producing assembly and test documentation
* Identifying faults or failed tests
* Reporting quality or production issues
* Following manufacturing processes and quality procedures
* Helping identify improvements within the production process
* Working as part of a busy production and manufacturing team
The successful Production Operative
The company is looking for practical people with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
The client is happy to train someone who is reliable, capable of following instructions and comfortable using basic hand tools.
You should have:
* A practical and hands-on approach
* Confidence using basic hand tools
* Good attention to detail
* The ability to follow drawings, instructions and procedures

* An interest in electrical products, electronics or manufacturing
* The ability to complete accurate documentation
* A willingness to learn assembly and testing processes
Previous experience as a Production Operative, Electronics Assembler, Electrical Assembler, Assembly Operative, Test Operative, Test Technician, Production Technician, Manufacturing Operative, Wiring Technician or Electronics Technician would be beneficial.
Experience within electronics assembly, electrical assembly, production testing, product testing, manufacturing, engineering, repair or another practical environment would also be useful.
