How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Registered Home Manager Job: Registered Home Manager
    Location: Hampshire
    Salary: Up to £75,000 - £80,000 DOE
    Hours: 35 Hours per Week

    The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a large, established care service delivering high-quality care to older adults with a range of residential, nursing, and dementia care needs.

    This role would suit a compassionate and commercially aware leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care while driving operational excellence. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining high occupancy levels, managing financial performance, and creating a positive culture for residents and staff alike.

    Working closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the wider community, you will play a key role in shaping the future success of the service. You will lead from the front, supporting and developing your team to deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational management of the home.
    Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care at all times.
    Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
    Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
    Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, and workforce development.
    Support the creation and implementation of person-centred care plans.
    Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
    Monitor service performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
    Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the financial sustainability of the service.
    Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous professional development.
    Drive occupancy and reputation through excellent service delivery and community engagement.
    Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are fully understood and embedded throughout the service.About You To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of managing complex care services. You will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care.

    Essential Requirements
    Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing and/or residential care setting.
    Relevant professional qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Management, or equivalent.
    Strong understanding of dementia care and the needs of older adults.
    Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations and current care sector legislation.
    Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
    Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop large teams.
    Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
    Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Desirable
    Experience managing larger care services.
    Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) or equivalent professional registration.
    Experience working within a charitable or not-for-profit environment.What's on Offer?
