How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Development Manager

    Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid, 4 days in office)
    Sector: Cyber Security & Risk Management
    Salary: £55k-£75k Base DoE + Excellent Commission & Benefits, 4.5 day week

    The Opportunity

    Our client is a premier, fast growing provider of cyber security protection and risk management services in the UK. They are partnered with some of the country's top professional bodies and are currently scaling their outbound sales operations.

    We are recruiting a dynamic Sales Development Manager to lead, coach, and develop their established team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This is a pivotal management hire for an experienced sales leader looking to make a direct impact on pipeline growth and team career progression.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and drive the daily activity for the team.

    *

    Coaching & Mentorship: Implement structured training, regular call shadowing, and feedback loops to elevate conversion rates.

    *

    Strategy Execution: Optimize outbound sequences, multi-channel outreach, and lead qualification criteria.

    *

    Performance Management: Monitor and report on core KPIs, including activity metrics, meetings booked, and pipeline velocity.

    *

    Internal Alignment: Work closely with the client’s Marketing and Senior Sales teams to optimize data, messaging, and campaigns.

    To be considered for this position you must be/ have

    *

    Proven track record as a Sales Manager, Team Leader, or Coach within B2B tech, SaaS, or professional services. B2C leadership may also be considered.

    *

    Demonstrable experience managing and developing a large team of SDRs or internal sales teams.

    *

    Strong grasp of modern sales tech stacks, CRM systems, and data-driven prospecting techniques.

    *

    High energy, structured management style, and a passion for people development.
