How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Power Platform Solutions Engineer

    Perm (Hybrid Working Available)

    Oxford

    Up to £60,000pa

Based in our Oxford office, you will join the Modern Workplace Team within Internal Technology. The team is responsible for the design, delivery, continual improvement, and support of the core services that provide staff with the tools and technology needed to perform their best work.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will focus on the Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and related automation and integration technologies. Your role will be to design and deliver solutions that improve productivity, streamline business processes, and enhance collaboration across the organisation.

We have an existing suite of Power Platform solutions that require ongoing development and support. In addition, we are adopting Logic Apps as part of its enterprise integration strategy — migrating existing Power Platform integrations and introducing scalable, well governed automation patterns. You will help shape this transition, ensuring Power Platform remains a valuable tool for citizen developers while establishing strong governance and best practices.

You will work directly with business users and Internal Technology colleagues to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and help drive automation and efficiency throughout the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of growth, as we continue to expand internationally and mature our technology landscape to meet the needs of a dynamic, data-driven business.

    Key responsibilities

    *

Design, Develop, and maintain solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure Logic Apps to support automation and integration

    *

Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform applications used across the business

    *

Implement and support Power Platform governance principles defined by the Head of Architecture and Engineering

    *

Work directly with business users to capture requirements, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements

    *

Collaborate with other Internal Technology teams (Data, System Specialists, Service Delivery, Information Security) to ensure cohesive delivery and ongoing supportability

    *

Support citizen developers and promote best practices in solution design.

    *

Take ownership of governance defined in conjunction with the Head of Architecture and Engineering and senior engineers

    *

Migrate system-to-system integrations from Power Platform to Logic Apps where appropriate

    *

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

    What we are looking for

    Required attributes:

    *

Minimum 2 years’ experience designing and developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform

    *

Experience working directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions

    *

Proven experience integrating systems via APIs

    *

Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail

    *

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    *

Flexible, proactive, and positive — a collaborative team player

    *

Able to work independently to manage priorities and deliver to deadlines

    *

Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business

    *

Delivery-oriented with a “roll up your sleeves” approach

    *

    Exceptional problem-solving skills

    *

A passion for technology and how it can be used to solve real business challenges

    Desirable attributes:

    *

Demonstrable experience working with Azure Logic Apps

    *

Demonstrable experience working with Power BI

    *

    Microsoft Certifications in relevant areas

    *

Familiarity of event driven software architecture, integration patterns and serverless solutions

    *

Experience administering or governing Power Platform environments

    *

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling to manage configurations across environments

    *

Experience working with any of our Tier 1 systems: Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, SAP SuccessFactors, or Dynamics 365 F&O
