About the Role
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a leading parcel handling and processing company based at Magna Park, Lutterworth. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced distribution environment where efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork are key.
The successful candidates will be responsible for processing parcels throughout the warehouse operation using handheld scanning equipment and working alongside automated parcel handling systems to ensure parcels are accurately tracked and moved through the distribution process.
Key Responsibilities
* Process parcels accurately using handheld scanning devices.
* Load, unload, sort, and move parcels within the warehouse environment.
* Work alongside automated conveyor and parcel handling systems.
* Ensure parcels are correctly scanned and routed throughout the operation.
* Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
* Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and management.
* Support operational requirements during peak periods and changing business demands.
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
* Experience using handheld scanners or RF scanning equipment.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Numerate and literate with the ability to follow processes and instructions accurately.
* Physically fit and capable of handling parcels throughout the working shift.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Desirable Requirements
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including late shifts and night shifts.
* Availability to work up to 6 days per week when required during busy periods.
* Willingness to adapt working hours in line with business requirements.
* Previous experience within a parcel processing or courier distribution environment.
