How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Company

The company is a valued business parter to many national and London based clients and has a reputation for delivering excellence.

    The Context

Axis Plus is currently planning to launch a new workforce management platform and is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic administrator to join our business support team, whose responsibilities will include transitioning current clients onto the platform as well as onboarding new clients. Whilst the new team member’s focus will initially be on the launch of the workforce management platform, the successful applicant will also assist the team in providing support to all areas of the business.

    The Role

The Business Support Team provides professional and responsive support to all areas of the business including internal and external stakeholders. Whilst it is not an exhaustive list, the team’s responsibilities include; software support, query management, handling complaints, sales support, marketing activities, delivery of workforce and client induction programmes, development of new procedures and project management. The business support team also works closely with other teams in the business to ensure a high quality, seamless client experience.

In this newly created role, which will have a focus on the new workforce management platform, we anticipate the scope of responsibilities will evolve and will include; lead generation, sales support, marketing, market research, website content creation, social media management, and other activities designed to identify, attract and engage new clients.

This, therefore, is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to; develop a broad skill set, establish and grow a number of business development and client attraction strategies, and work closely with internal and external partners.

    Person Specification:

    * A desire to be constantly learning, developing and taking on new challenges

    * Strong sales targeted research experience

    * Previous experience in administration, office support or an operations role

    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey competence and understanding

    * High level of IT literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

    * A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support across a wide range of tasks

    * High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

    * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

    * Organised, proactive, forward-thinking and able to take responsibility

    * Fabulous interpersonal skill and confidence to seek answers/follow up

What you will get in return:

In return, we offer a competitive starting salary (plus RRP payable upon successful completion of the probationary period), six-month induction and training programme, ongoing opportunities to grow and develop, shared team revenue related pay, and the enjoyment of working with a great team.

    Home Working Environment Requirements

As this role is home-based, there is no geographical restriction for applicants who wish to apply from around the UK. However, it is critical that applicants can demonstrate they have a private home working environment, where they can work uninterrupted. Excellent, high quality broadband connectivity is also critical, as is back-up hardware (personal laptop and mobile phone)
