How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role:                Administrator  (Hybrid)
    Hours:             Mon – Fri 8am-4:30pm
    Pay:                 £13.45 p/hour
    Location:         Birchwood, Warrington
    Start:               ASAP/Immediate
    Duration:         Min 6 months contract 

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator for our client based in Birchwood, Warrington to work on a minimum 6-month contract.
    You will be working closely with managers, field teams, engineers, suppliers and clients and provide admin support to the fleet, logistics and health and safety teams. 

    As the Administrator, your responsibilities will be;

    Work closely with managers, field teams, engineers, suppliers and clients.
    Handling calls, emails, reports, databases, purchase requisitions, travel and hotel bookings.
    Manage courier arrangements.
    Support help desk tasks and client onboarding activity, helping to keep services running smoothly across high-value projects and fast-moving operational work.
    Manage multiple tasks accurately, maintain records, process requests and keep systems up to date in a busy operational setting.
    Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, clients, engineers and suppliers, responding promptly and confidently.
    Prioritise work effectively, handle competing deadlines and ensure information, reports and orders are completed accurately.
    Work well, both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility, a proactive attitude and a calm approach to change.
    The successful Administrator will have the following skills and experience;

    Previous administrative experience within a busy office.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Excellent numeracy, and good IT skills. 
    Fleet/Transport administration experience would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given. 

    You would be required to work 100% in the office for the first 6 weeks wile undergoing training. Following this, you will then be working in a Hybrid position – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
