How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Comprehensive benefits package and above market salary

    Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to oversee an ongoing high-quality housing project comprising 40 units, with plans for an additional 40 units. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a prestigious development and to be part of future projects already outlined in the area. The Site Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is an excellent chance to join a forward-thinking, diverse, and inclusive organization that values teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.

    Responsibilities

    * Manage all aspects of the construction site, including planning, coordinating, and supervising activities to ensure successful delivery of housing units.

    * Lead, motivate, and oversee the site team, subcontractors, and external suppliers to ensure delivery to schedule, scope, and quality standards.

    * Monitor performance against project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Proactively manage risks and resolve any issues that arise.

    * Maintain utmost adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, ensuring that all operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    * Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

    * Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources to keep the project on track.

    * Hand over completed units to the highest quality and snag-free finish.

    * Keep detailed and organized records, including progress reports and updates for internal teams and stakeholders.

    * Build strong relationships with local authorities, community representatives, and other stakeholders to support the successful delivery of current and future projects.

    * Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation on-site to enhance quality and efficiency.

    Qualifications

    * Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in residential construction, ideally managing high-quality multi-unit housing developments.

    * Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, regulations, and health & safety standards.

    * A valid construction management or similar qualification; CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are preferred.

    * Strong focus on quality control and attention to detail to deliver high-end finishes.

    * A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

    Day-to-day

    * Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

    * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of the project schedule.

    * Manage and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively to avoid delays.

    * Prepare and submit daily progress updates and reports to project management teams.

    * Oversee and manage health and safety practices, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks.

    * Attend site and progress meetings, providing updates and managing action points.

    * Collaborate with design and project teams to address any buildability issues that arise.

    * Ensure quality assurance standards are met at every stage of the build.

    * Build and maintain positive working relationships with local stakeholders to support the smooth running of the project and future developments in the area.

We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive workplace. This role is open to all candidates, and we strongly encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality housing and driving construction excellence, we’d love to hear from you!
