How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    M&E Project Manager – Data Centre Project – East London

    We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the electrical package on a data centre project in East London, working alongside a well-established M&E Contractor.

    This is a site-based role (in site office) managing electrical installations through to commissioning and handover on a fast-paced, technically demanding project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Oversee and manage the electrical package from pre-construction through to completion

    * Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and programme requirements

    * Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

    * Attend and lead site meetings with the client, consultants, and subcontractors

    * Manage RAMS, technical submittals, RFIs, and progress reporting

    * Liaise closely with mechanical teams to ensure smooth coordination across all services

    * Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards

    * Support commissioning activities and final project handover

    Requirements:

    * Proven experience working as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale commercial or industrial projects

    * Previous data centre experience would be highly advantageous

    * Strong electrical background with good understanding of mechanical services

    * Experience working for M&E Contractors

    * Ability to manage programme deadlines and coordinate multiple trades on site
