How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are supporting a well-established FMCG manufacturing business in the appointment of a Business Account Manager to manage and develop strategic customer partnerships across a portfolio of key accounts.

    This is an important commercial role, responsible for driving profitable growth through customer management, P&L ownership and the delivery of effective trading strategies.

    Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and delivering sustainable business performance.

    Role Details

    Location: London
    Salary: Competitive salary + bonus + car allowance
    Contract: Permanent
    Working pattern: Home-based, with an expectation to attend the office two days per week

    The Role

    You will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic accounts, managing commercial performance and developing plans that deliver both customer and business objectives.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    Managing full P&L responsibility across a portfolio of customer accounts, including profitability, investment and commercial performance
    Developing and executing customer trading strategies, Joint Business Plans and growth initiatives
    Leading customer negotiations across areas including pricing, margin, investment and promotional activity
    Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and working collaboratively with internal teams to maximise opportunities

    What We're Looking For

    We are looking for a commercially driven Business Manager with experience managing customer relationships within the FMCG sector.

    You may currently be working as a:

    Business Account Manager
    National Account Manager
    Commercial ExecutiveTo succeed in the role you will likely have:

    Proven experience within FMCG sales or commercial account management
    Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, negotiations and customer investment
    Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills with the ability to operate at all levels
    A results-focused mindset with strong analytical ability and a drive to deliver growth
