The successful candidate will work closely with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage risks, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple UK-based projects simultaneously from planning through to completion.
* Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans.
* Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular project reviews and provide accurate reporting to senior management.
* Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes.
* Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Support commercial activities including procurement, cost control, and forecasting.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a Project Manager role delivering projects within the UK.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project delivery teams.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Qualifications
* PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification.
* Experience working within engineering, construction, infrastructure, civils , or related sectors.
* Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and project governance requirements.
