How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary from £29,000 - £33,000
    Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm | Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

    Looking for an electrical role with an early finish every Friday and genuine career progression?

    ES Recruit are working with a leading manufacturer within the clean air and containment industry who are looking to add an Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer to their growing team.
    This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business that invests heavily in its employees through training, development and outstanding benefits.

    The Role

    You'll be working within a skilled electrical team, building and wiring bespoke electrical control panels and equipment from technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
    Duties include:

    Building and wiring electrical control panels
    Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
    Electrical testing and maintaining test records
    Fault finding and carrying out electrical diagnostics
    Maintaining high quality workmanship and company standards
    Occasional support with customer site installations

    What We're Looking For

    NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
    Experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly
    Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
    Good attention to detail and quality standards
    Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    Desirable (not essential):

    18th Edition
    City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
    Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
