How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About Veritas

    We're looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Customer Growth to lead our commercial function, develop our sales team and drive sustainable revenue growth across both new and existing customers.

    Reporting directly to the Directors, this is a key leadership role with the opportunity to influence business strategy, shape the sales function and build a high-performing commercial culture.

    The Role

    This is far more than a traditional sales management position. You'll lead the commercial team, improve accountability, drive customer growth, oversee CRM and sales operations, and support the execution of Veritas' growth strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    1.

    Lead, motivate and develop the sales and telesales teams.

    2.

    Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and coaching sessions.

    3.

    Set clear objectives, KPIs and accountability measures.

    4.

    Recruit, mentor and develop future sales talent.

    5.

    Support Directors with strategic commercial planning and growth initiatives.

    6.

    Drive new business generation through networking, partnerships, LinkedIn, referrals, prospecting campaigns and customer introductions.

    7.

    Ensure the team maintains a strong focus on new business acquisition.

    8.

    Identify growth opportunities across existing customers.

    9.

    Increase adoption of Managed IT, Cyber Security, Telecoms, Managed Print, Business Automation, Cloud and Microsoft solutions.

    10.

    Develop strategic account growth plans to increase recurring revenue.

    11.

    Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the customer base.

    12.

    Take ownership of CRM management and commercial processes.

    13.

    Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, lead allocation and opportunity tracking.

    14.

    Ensure CRM compliance across the business.

    15.

    Develop meaningful sales dashboards, KPI reporting and performance metrics.

    16.

    Improve forecasting accuracy and commercial visibility.

    17.

    Provide regular reporting to Directors covering pipeline, forecasting, performance, customer growth, sales trends and strategic recommendations.

    About You

    1.

    Experience leading and developing successful B2B sales teams.

    2.

    Proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth.

    3.

    Experience within MSP, Managed Print, Telecommunications, Office Technology or Business Technology sectors.

    4.

    Strong CRM management, reporting and sales operations experience.

    5.

    Experience driving both new business acquisition and customer retention.

    6.

    Proven ability to improve sales performance through coaching and accountability.

    7.

    Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to influence business strategy.

    8.

    Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

    9.

    Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders.

    10.

    Ambitious, commercially driven and passionate about developing high-performing teams.
