We are working with a friendly and suportive mainstream primary school in Camden (NW3) who are seeking a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. They are open to 4 OR 5 days per week.
This role involves supporting a Year 5 pupil with ASD and communication difficulties, who is currently working at an EYFS level 3 days per week. The other days you will be based in the mainstream classroom.

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 – Year 5)
Contract: Full‑time / part-time, long‑term for 1 Year initially
Hours: 8:30-3:30pm
Pay: £110-£120
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with ASD & communication challengess
* Support communication, behaviour, and engagement at an EYFS learning level
* Work directly with the pupil 3 days per week
* On remaining days, provide general classroom support
* Implement strategies to support regulation and learning
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team
* Maintain a consistent, calm, and structured approach
