Our client, a leading civil engineering sub-contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a highway infrastructure scheme in East Yorkshire.
The role will focus primarily on the successful delivery of drainage works, requiring an engineer with strong setting-out capabilities and previous experience on civil engineering or highways projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Setting out and surveying drainage installations
•Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications
•Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information
•Conducting quality assurance checks and inspections
•Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the wider project team
•Assisting with the planning and coordination of daily site activities
•Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards on site
REQUIREMENTS:
•Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure projects
•Strong background in drainage works
•Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total stations, and surveying equipment
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
•CSCS card essential
•Full UK driving licence
•SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
