TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Manager on behalf of a nationwide contractor for a new build school project. This freelance opportunity will run for approximately 6 months and will involve overseeing the completion of groundworks, external works and concrete slab packages.
The successful candidate will have experience managing construction activities on new build projects and be confident coordinating subcontractors, maintaining site standards and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.
The Role
- Health & Safety management and enforcement
- Management of groundworks, external works and concrete slab packages
- Subcontractor and quality management
- Keep site documentation up to date and organised
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site
- Programme management and coordination of works
- Working collaboratively with the client, subcontractors and wider project team
The Person
- Essential tickets - NVQ Level 6, Black CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid
- Previous Site Management experience on new build construction projects
- Strong understanding of groundworks and external works packages
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Professional approach with a strong focus on Health & Safety
