How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Refrigeration & Air Con Engineer
    London
    Up to £50,000 per annum

    A growing HVAC and refrigeration specialist delivering installation, maintenance, and repair services across commercial environments throughout London and the surrounding areas. Working across sectors including offices, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial facilities, this company provides high-quality climate control solutions with a strong focus on customer service, technical excellence, and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Carry out service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems
    Diagnose and repair faults across a range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
    Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown works on customer sites
    Work on VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, and refrigeration equipment
    Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
    Maintain high standards of customer service while liaising with clients and site teams

    Package:
    Up to £50,000 per annum
    Overtime available paid at 1.5x Monday to Saturday and 2x on Sundays
    Company van with personal use permitted
    Trade tools provided

    28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

    What You'll Need:
    Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer, or HVAC Service Engineer
    Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
    Experience working within commercial environments
    F-Gas Category 1 qualification
    Full UK driving licence
    Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
    Good communication and customer-facing skills
