We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our clients small, close-knit team on a permanent basis. We're looking for someone who can work well with others while bringing strong practical skills and reliability to the group.
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Location: Newbury - own transport required (no public transport links)

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative
Receive, inspect and accurately put away incoming goods
Pick, pack and despatch orders securely and to deadline
Maintain stock accuracy through rotation, stock checks and regular stock takes
Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, safe and well organised
Drive a company van between neighbouring sites as required
Support manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods
Follow all health & safety procedures and report hazards/near-misses promptly
Assist with basic repair/maintenance tasks where needed
About You
Previous warehouse/stores experience is essential
Physically fit and comfortable with manual, heavy lifting work
Reliable team player who works well in a small team
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (for commuting)
Confident driving a van for site cross-overs
