The practice has built a loyal and diverse client base, with work spanning bespoke private houses, high-end extensions and barn conversions through to medium-scale residential developments and occasional commercial schemes. No two days look the same, and the successful candidate will play a meaningful role across the full breadth of the studio's output.
What You'll Be Doing
Taking ownership of projects at all stages, from initial client brief through to practical completion
Attending new client meetings and contributing to business development and practice growth
Carrying out feasibility studies, design proposals and detailed construction documentation
Leading on contract administration and site management for small to medium residential schemes
Fulfilling the Principal Designer role under both CDM and Building Regulations
Collaborating with the wider design team, external consultants and clients to keep projects on time and on budget
Attending and contributing to design team meetings
What We're Looking For
ARB-registered architect with a minimum of 5 years' post-Part 3 experience gained within UK practice
Confident working across all RIBA stages, including site-based delivery
Strong working knowledge of UK planning processes and building control requirements
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD — both are essential
Competence as Principal Designer under CDM and Building Regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you'll be client-facing and need to build trust quickly
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset suited to a smaller studio environment
Valid UK driving licence
Full eligibility to work in the UK
