Full time role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble components and parts following work instructions, technical drawings, or standard operating procedures
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively
* Conduct visual and basic functional inspections to ensure product quality
* Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or production issues
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S principles
* Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
* Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
* Support continuous improvement activities and suggest process enhancements
* Assist with packaging, labelling, and preparation of finished goods for dispatch
* Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (preferred but not always required)
* Basic understanding of hand tools and assembly techniques
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
* Good attention to detail and quality awareness
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience reading technical drawings or schematics
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
* Basic mechanical or technical aptitude
Working Conditions
