Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Teach a broad and balanced Geography curriculum aligned with national expectations
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
Maintain clear behaviour expectations and classroom routines
Work collaboratively with the humanities department and wider staff team
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all timesIdeal Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography
Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
Willingness to commit to a full-time, one-year contract
