Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of projects across London?
We're working with a well-established fire and security specialist that is looking to add an experienced engineer to its team due to continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working across installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial environments.
The Role
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, commissioning and fault diagnosis of a wide range of fire detection and alarm systems throughout London.
Key responsibilities include:
Service, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems
Fault finding and diagnostics on a variety of fire detection systems
Commissioning of new installations
Conducting routine inspections and testing in line with industry standards
Completing service reports and documentation accurately
Ensuring all work complies with BS5839 regulations
Providing excellent customer service on client sites
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer or Fire & Security Engineer
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated equipment
Experience with manufacturers such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Notifier, Morley, C-Tec, Apollo, Hochiki or similar
Knowledge of BS5839 standards
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
