MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in York, North Yorkshire to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a temporary basis.
Vacancy Details:
* Available from October 2026.
* Ongoing for up to 6 months (maternity cover).
* Part time opportunity, 2 days per week.
* Locum Dentist required Mondays and Thursdays (phone number removed)pm.
* Position belongs to an independently owned dental group.
Remuneration:
* Up to £500 per day or £14 per UDA - depending on preference.
* 50% split on Private in addition to day rate or UDA rate.
* Locum will manage a predominantly NHS list.
* Stable list of patients.
* Dentist will be paid on a monthly basis.
Practice Overview:
* Busy 9 surgery dental practice.
* Computerised (SOE), Digital X-Rays, Rotary Endo, and Intra Oral Cameras.
* FD training practice with 3 trainers on site.
* Dentist will have the support of a Hygienist and onsite Technician.
* Practice offers General Dentistry plus Implants.
* Free onsite parking available.
Essential Requirements:
* GDC Registered Dentist
* NHS Performer Number
* Enhanced DBS Certificate

£400.00 - £500.00 per day
