We're recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join a collaborative procurement team, supporting the delivery of end-to-end procurement activities across a diverse range of categories.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous procurement experience who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities and delivering commercially focused solutions.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced procurement team, you'll support the delivery of procurement projects from initial requirement through to contract award. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, helping to ensure procurement activity is compliant, commercially robust and delivers value for money.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their procurement career.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
* Prepare procurement documentation and assist with tender processes.
* Conduct supplier research and market analysis.
* Evaluate supplier submissions and support procurement recommendations.
* Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
* Ensure procurement activity complies with relevant policies and procedures.
* Support contract implementation and supplier onboarding.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
* Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and deliver efficiencies.
* Provide day-to-day procurement advice and support across the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and passionate about procurement.
You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience within a procurement, purchasing or sourcing role.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience of procurement or purchasing systems would be an advantage.
* An understanding of procurement best practice.
* MCIPS qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial but isn't essential.
