How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Following the award of a flagship £15m drylining design and build package on the Cardiff Arena new build, our client is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of this landmark scheme.

Accommodation and travel are fully covered, with a working pattern of four days on site and one day from home.

Our client is a specialist drylining contractor delivering complex design and build packages on major projects. The business is led by a Managing Director who trusts experienced professionals to take ownership, make decisions and drive projects forward, offering genuine autonomy without micromanagement.

This role requires a strong site presence due to the scale and complexity of the project, balanced with flexibility and support from senior leadership.

You will lead the day-to-day delivery of the project, managing programme, coordination and site operations, while working closely with the client and senior team to ensure successful outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage day-to-day delivery of the £15m drylining package
    • Oversee programme, site operations and subcontractor coordination
    • Work with the design team to ensure smooth BIM-led delivery
    • Maintain quality, health and safety, and project standards
    • Support commercial performance, including cost control and reporting

    About You
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager within drylining or a similar subcontracting environment
    • Strong technical understanding of drylining systems and buildability
    • Experience working on design and build projects
    • Organised, commercially aware and confident managing site delivery
    • Strong communicator with a hands-on, proactive approach
    • Comfortable being site-based
