How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Autism (ASD) Support | Primary School | Clapham Junction | Full-Time

    Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education, special educational needs (SEND), or child development?

    We are recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Clapham Junction. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, or future teachers who want hands-on experience working with children with additional needs.

    As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals. You will work closely with experienced teachers and SEND professionals in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the classroom.

    * Assist with learning activities and interventions tailored to individual needs.

    * Promote positive behaviour, communication, and social development.

    * Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to support pupil progress.

    * Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

    Role Details

    * Location: Clapham Junction

    * Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

    * Hours: 8:45am – 4:45pm

    * Contract: Full-time, term-time only

    * Start: Immediate or September start available

    * Progression: Strong potential for a permanent position

    Ideal Candidate

    * A degree in Psychology or a related subject.

    * Passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Patient, proactive, and eager to learn.

    * Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
