Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic profiles and components.
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to optimise performance and product quality.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on extrusion equipment to minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to management promptly.
Assist in the training of new team members and support team collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience operating extrusion machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of plastic extrusion processes and quality control standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Relevant health and safety certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, are desirable.
Technical skills in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible attitude towards shift patterns and overtime as required.
