How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Qualified Supervisor

    Location: West London

    Pay: £52,479 + Company Van & Fuel Card

    Full-Time | Permanent | Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

    A leading social housing contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join their growing team in West London.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical professional with experience in social housing, repairs, maintenance, or compliance contracts to take ownership of electrical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee electrical works across planned and reactive maintenance contracts
    Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures
    Supervise electricians and subcontractors, providing technical support and guidance
    Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is completed to a high standard
    Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and operational reporting
    Maintain accurate records of certifications, inspections, and completed works
    Support staff development through coaching and mentoring
    Attend client meetings and support contract delivery across the region

    Essential Requirements:

    NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
    18th Edition Wiring Regulations
    AM2 Qualification
    Test & Inspection Qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
    Previous experience within social housing, repairs, or maintenance environments
    Full UK Driving Licence
