How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher
    Location: Enfield
    Salary: Up to £20 Per Hour DOE
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    The Role
    As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work, ensuring all vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    ·Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, and priming
    ·Mixing and colour-matching paint to manufacturer specifications
    ·Applying paint finishes using modern spraying techniques
    ·Carrying out paint repairs and full vehicle resprays
    ·Inspecting completed work to ensure the highest quality standards
    ·Maintaining a clean and organised work area
    ·Working efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets
    ·Following all health and safety procedures

    About You
    To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
    ·Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer, Paint Refinisher, Vehicle Painter, or Automotive Paint Technician
    ·Strong knowledge of paint preparation and refinishing techniques
    ·Experience working within a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre
    ·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
    ·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    ·A positive attitude and strong work ethic
    ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
