How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Production Saw Technician (FLT)

    Tonbridge – only drivers with own transport can be considered due to location and hours

    £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience + overtime + bens + progression

    Monday – Friday 6.30am-4pm

    A growing manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Production Saw Technician to join its busy workshop team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, likes being active throughout the day and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.

    Working within a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for processing metal materials accurately and safely while helping keep production running efficiently.

    What you'll be doing:

    Operating specialist cutting machinery to process metal materials

    Working from measurements and technical drawings

    Loading, moving and organising materials using a Counterbalance FLT

    Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance

    Working towards daily production targets

    Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping

    What we're looking for:

    Previous experience operating machinery within manufacturing, production, engineering or workshop environments

    Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

    Comfortable reading measurements and working accurately

    Physically fit and happy working in a hands-on role

    Reliable with a strong work ethic

    Positive attitude and willingness to learn

    Own transport due to location and start times
