How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) – September Start

    Wolverhampton | Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term Opportunity

    Teacher of MFL Required – September 2026 Start

    Think Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary academy in Wolverhampton to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) for a September start.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate language specialist to join a supportive and ambitious academy committed to delivering high-quality education and raising student achievement.     The Role

    As a Teacher of MFL, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach either French, Spanish, or both languages, fostering a love of languages and cultural understanding among students.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that engage and challenge learners.

    Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

    Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.

    Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

    Contribute to departmental planning and academy-wide initiatives.

    Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.

    The Ideal Candidate

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

    Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.

    Experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a secondary school setting.

    Strong classroom management skills.

    Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

    A commitment to raising standards and improving student outcomes.
