How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions. They are looking to bring on a new racking installer working across East Anglia and the surrounding areas. With a competitive package and scope for growth at a leading local provider, this is a great opportunity for a professional with strong industry experience seeking a new role. 

    Responsibilities

    Carrying out installations, maintenance, fit out and strip out projects
    Ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish and health and safety is adhered to but installers and external staff on sites
    Being a representative for the company on site
    Working closely with internal staff to ensure the client’s requirements and expectations are met
    Occasionally working overtime as and when requiredRequirements 

    The company are looking for an individual with experience of racking & storage installation projects. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety protocols on site. It is essential for the successful individual to hold a UK driver’s license.  In terms of location, the company are looking for applicant based in East Anglia or within commutable distance.

The business both designs and installs systems in-house so their customer base is able to offer high quality and reliable project delivery. They have a strong client base across East Anglia particularly in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire & Suffolk. Due to further expansion, they’re looking to continue to add to their installations/engineering department
