This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth across a portfolio of infrastructure solutions, developing new business opportunities, influencing project specifications and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the UK and international markets.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across highways, infrastructure and construction sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, designers, local authorities and infrastructure stakeholders.
Engage with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Influence project specifications at the earliest stages of the design process.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts while maximising profitability.
About You
Proven experience in business development, technical sales or solution selling.
Experience within highways, infrastructure, construction, civil engineering or related sectors.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
The ability to understand technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Experience presenting solutions to clients and key stakeholders.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and forecasting.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on results.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
