How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to make a tangible impact on critical infrastructure? We are actively seeking a dedicated professional to join us for an essential 22-week onsite engagement in Milford Haven. This is a pivotal role in the renewal of a key energy logistics facility, and we are looking for the right talent to step in and drive commercial excellence immediately.

    Responsibilities:

Provide expert commercial oversight, managing project budgets and civil work valuations with high precision.
Interpret and adapt to bespoke, non-standard contract terms, ensuring full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Take charge of procurement requirements and manage vital supply chain activities.
Prepare detailed cost reconciliation statements and provide data-driven insights to support project success.
Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, health, and safety within a high-risk civil engineering environment.

    Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven track record in the civil engineering sector with a strong foundational understanding of contract administration.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, onsite environment; you must be within a commutable distance of Milford Haven.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

    What We Offer:

    A high-impact, 22-week project engagement starting in July 2026.
    A competitive daily umbrella rate of £400 - £500.
Standard working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

    To Apply:

We are looking to fill this position quickly. If you are a self-starter ready to contribute to this major renewal project, please submit your application or call (phone number removed)
