How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Context

The Channel Product Domain vision is to establish a scalable, consistent, and future-ready product ecosystem that enables seamless product data and content flow across all customer channels and downstream platforms. The domain plays a critical role in delivering strategic goals through improved product data management, API enablement, operational efficiency, and modernised architecture aligned to the North Star vision.

The Channel Product Domain currently consists of two closely aligned capability areas:

Product APIs (REST, Sub-graphs, legacy assembly apis)
    PIM (Product Information Management)

As the PIM platform is undergoing a significant modernisation programme requiring dedicated strategic focus, additional product ownership support is required within the Product APIs space. Product APIs must continue to evolve in alignment with the wider Channel Product Domain vision, OKRs, PIM roadmap, and North Star architecture to ensure both teams operate cohesively towards shared domain objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

Support the Channel Product Domain Product Manager in delivering Product API initiatives aligned to the wider domain vision, strategic goals, OKRs, and North Star architecture.
Own and manage the day-to-day Product APIs backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with agreed roadmap outcomes, engineering capacity, and cross-domain dependencies.
Work closely with the Channel Product Domain Product Manager to translate strategic initiatives into clear, actionable delivery requirements for engineering teams.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, and day-to-day agile delivery activities across the Product APIs team.
Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring stories and requirements are sufficiently refined, prioritised, and understood by delivery teams.
Ensure alignment between Product APIs initiatives and the wider PIM modernisation roadmap, supporting consistent product domain evolution across both teams.
Proactively identify and manage blockers, delivery risks, technical dependencies, and cross-team impacts, escalating where appropriate to the Channel Product Domain Product Manager. If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
