Responsibilities
* Work as a water jet operator or/and on flame cutting machines
* Initially work days moving to nights once trained
* Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
* Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished products within the warehouse.
* Use hand tools for assembly, adjustments, or repairs as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to safety protocols.
* Assist with welding or fabrication tasks when required.
* Document production data accurately for quality control purposes.
Skills
* Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their operation.
* Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
* Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
* Warehouse experience including materials organisation and inventory management.
* Skills in assembly work and welding are advantageous but not essential.

Salary description
£13.00 - £13.45 per hour
