How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Assistant Site Manager -Customer Care - Residential New Build

    Location: Darwen
    Job Type: Freelance
    Duration: 12 month
    Rate: Competitive Day / Hourly Rates
    Start Date: Immediate Start Available

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Care Coordinator to join a busy residential new-build development in Darwen. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position on a 12 month residential housing project with an established contractor and supportive team.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing homeowner enquiries, coordinating remedial works, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the defect and aftercare period.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for managing customer care activities across the development, acting as the main point of contact for homeowners and coordinating contractors to ensure all issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage customer enquiries and aftercare requests in a professional and timely manner.
    Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the defects period.
    Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to attend and complete remedial works.
    Schedule and monitor customer care appointments.
    Track and manage defects through to successful completion.
    Maintain accurate records and update customer care systems.
    Liaise with site management teams, subcontractors, and homeowners to ensure excellent communication.
    Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standard.
    Assist with plot handovers and homeowner demonstrations where required.
    Ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained and company service standards are achieved.

    Requirements

    Previous experience in a Customer Care Coordinator, Customer Service, or Aftercare role within residential house building.
    Strong understanding of the new-build customer journey and defects process.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
    Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
    Professional and proactive approach to problem solving.
    Full UK driving licence preferred.
