How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with an established and innovative business within the fenestration sector to recruit an experienced Support Coordinator.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordinator with strong industry knowledge and excellent customer service skills to join a specialist team supporting customers with software and system-related enquiries.

    The Opportunity

    As a Support Coordinator, you will become a key point of contact for customers, helping to resolve technical and operational queries while working closely with internal departments to ensure a high standard of service delivery. The position offers genuine scope to develop your technical knowledge and progress within the support function.

    Main Duties

    * Act as a first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and support ticketing systems.

    * Investigate and resolve customer queries, escalating issues where necessary.

    * Work alongside internal technical and training teams to ensure customer issues are dealt with effectively.

    * Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs within the CRM system.

    * Provide regular updates to customers regarding ongoing support cases.

    * Assist with quality assurance and testing of software enhancements and new releases.

    * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the support department.

    Candidate Requirements

    * Previous experience within a customer service, support, administration or coordination role.

    * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    * A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.

    * Experience working within the double glazing, windows and doors, conservatory, or wider fenestration industry is essential.

    * An understanding of operational processes within a glazing business would be highly advantageous.

    Desirable

    * Previous experience supporting software systems.

    * Knowledge of Business Micros, Window Designer, Evolution, or similar industry software.

    * Experience providing higher-level technical support within the fenestration sector.
