Vision for Education are looking for a versatile and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant, who can motivate, support and inspire our students in the classroom. This role is based at specialist schools in the Rotherham area that caters for students from the ages of 7-16 years. They provide specialist education for young people with ASC, ADHD, PMLD, MLD and SLD and are looking for a new team member to integrate smoothly into their hard-working team of staff.
The role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you’ll contribute to the delivery of appropriate non-teaching support in classroom situations and other settings, working with students with additional support needs on a 1:1 or group basis in accordance with the overall learner support plans.
We’re looking for Behaviour Support Assistants who have a range of direct experience of working with young people with behavioural difficulties who are presently attending alternative provision. You will also need a proven ability to motivate students and promote learning.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
Be reliable, flexible and creative!
Have experience supporting children and young adults with learning and behavioural difficulties
Have a resilient yet empathetic approach
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team, have a nurturing and caring nature and a genuine desire to make a difference
Team teach training is highly desirable – we run regular courses for this training that are free of charge

Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration).
