My well-established client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their market-leading company based in the Rochester area. This will initially be on a 15 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role will be fully office based and expeirence working in the construction industry is essential.
Duties will include:
Completing month-end duties
Accruals & Prepayments
Monthly VAT returns
Year-end preparation, including Audit
Bank reconciliations
Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger duties
CIS returns
Payroll including processing Pensions, Wages and Journals and Yearly P11D Submission
The successful candidate will:
Have worked in a similar role previously
Understand Accruals & Prepayments
Have previous experience with P11D’s
Possess advanced Excel skills
Have experience using Sage
