How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Teachers: Are you ready for a change? 🚨

❌ Tired of the stress, behaviour management, and endless admin?

❌ Feeling like you're spending more time managing a classroom than actually teaching?

❌ Want to make a genuine difference to a young person's life?

    What if you could...

✨ Teach just ONE student at a time

✨ Build meaningful relationships and see real progress

✨ Work flexibly around your lifestyle

✨ Focus on teaching, not managing a class of 30+

    Your Impact

As an Outreach Teacher, you'll provide personalised 1:1 support to young people who are currently unable to access mainstream education.

You'll help learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve goals they never thought possible.

Every session gives you the opportunity to make a lasting difference.

    What You'll Do

✔ Deliver engaging 1:1 learning sessions

✔ Adapt lessons to meet individual needs

✔ Support learners with SEND, SEMH, anxiety, and school avoidance

✔ Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive outcomes

✔ Teach in homes, libraries, and community venues

    Why Teachers Love This Role

    ✅ No crowded classrooms

✅ No class sizes of 30+

    ✅ Greater work-life balance

    ✅ Reduced admin and paperwork

    ✅ Flexible working patterns

    ✅ Ongoing opportunities available

    ✅ Supportive, wellbeing-focused team

    What We're Looking For

🎓 QTS or relevant teaching/support experience

💙 A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

    🤝 Strong relationship-building skills

🌟 A passion for helping young people succeed

Imagine the difference you could make when your focus is one learner, one goal, and one life at a time.
