How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Eastbourne
    Salary: £16,333 Basic Salary + OTE £40,000 - £45,000
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday 1 in 3 rota 10:00am - 4:00pm.

    THE ROLE
    As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping customers find the right vehicle and finance solution to suit their needs.

    Key responsibilities include:
    ·Managing the full vehicle sales process from initial enquiry through to handover
    ·Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
    ·Conducting vehicle presentations and test drives
    ·Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable vehicles and products
    ·Promoting finance, insurance, and additional products where appropriate
    ·Following up enquiries and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
    ·Achieving individual and dealership sales targets
    ·Ensuring all customer interactions are delivered to the highest professional standards

    ABOUT YOU
    The successful candidate will have:
    ·Previous experience in vehicle sales, automotive sales, retail sales, or a customer-focused sales environment
    ·Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    ·A driven and target-focused approach
    ·The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
    ·Excellent organisational and time management skills
    ·A professional and well-presented manner
    ·Confidence using digital systems and CRM platforms
